Vato Gonzalez is best known for his energetic stage performance and his unique future/deep/bass house productions. With more than 2000 shows worldwide under his belt, he’s got the experience to smash any mainstage as well as delivering proper innovative sets for the underground. Throughout the years he’s developed a unique style of DJing that walks the thin thread between entertainment and innovation, being able to adapt on the spot to the audience at hand.

Over the past years, Vato has released tracks on Heldeep Records, Armada Deep, Ultra Records, Ministry of Sound, Spinnin’ Records, Mad Decent, Black Butter, Dim Mak, BMKLTSCH and Southern Fried Records, alongside a myriad of releases on his own Dirty House label.

As a welcome guest at BBC Radio 1, he’s enjoyed success with multiple Top 10 hits in the Official UK chart (Badman Riddim, Not A Saint), several #1 DMC Buzz Chart entries (Push Riddim, Violet Nights) and a whole host of Beatport Top 10 notations. He’s collaborated with and/or remixed for artist like Major Lazer, Taio Cruz, DJ Fresh, DC Breaks, Sinden, Wiley, Skepta, Tyga and Diplo.

He’s been touring the globe for over a decade, steadily playing over 200 shows a year. He’s sold out venues like Webster Hall (New York) and has rocked shows at Bootshaus (Cologne), Privilege (Ibiza), Ministry of Sound (London), BCM (Mallorca), Avalon (Los Angeles) as well as major festivals like Tomorrowland and Dancevalley on the regular.

Vato Gonzalez got his big break when he unleashed the first ‘Dirty House’ mixtape to the public. The fast-paced mixing proved to be an instant hit with the crowd and spread like wildfire all over the internet. The annual mixtape series has amassed well over 20 million downloads/streams till date. Quickly after the launch of the first mixtape, Vato started with ‘Dirty House’ events and as the brand/movement grew, he sold out clubs with his ‘Dirty House’ concept, hosted ‘Dirty House’ arenas at massive events & festivals throughout Europe. In 2013 he also launched the first ‘user-generated’ mixtape, ‘Army Of Bastards’, via his online community; the mixtape introduced talents like Martin Garrix and Oliver Heldens to the world. This community holds about 8000 producers and DJ’s worldwide and Vato is still involved in every aspect of this movement, always trying to support the next generation of artists.
