In 2009, four guys felt the burning desire of bringing down the soul of a live band to the heart of the 21st century, the dance scene, and unite all loving ♂ and ♀. They decided to record a demo with Gert Beazar (dj COLE). Four songs based on a mixture of rock, pop and pure electronics

Since November 2010, they unleashed their first-born-set at places like Muziekodroom, Decadance, Charlatan, Daydream and others where they shared the stage with Shameboy, De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, Edd&Kim, Intergalactic Lovers, Balthazar, Waxdolls and many others.

After they won the Popallure- and Arendonkswingt contest, the band was chosen by Poppunt to shoot a video ( "Repetitiekot" ) and became cutting edge of the week. ( "cuttingedge.be").

Dit is de chemische reactie die plaatsvindt als je vette beats kruist met stevige hooks en snijdende gitaren en punkstemmen laat soixante-neufen met een Roland TR-808 drumcomputer. Dit soort electro is duidelijk nog steeds de nieuwe rock: na Goose, de Waxdolls en The Subs is die opnieuw een band waarop je urenlang als een geflipte gek op te veel bollen kan rondspringen, crowdsurfen en moshen. --Katrien Brys (democrazy)

We waren onze tong al in vijfduizend bochten aan het wringen – nog een beetje en we konden Audrey Horngewijs een knoopje leggen in de steel van een kers – om iets zinnig te maken van 808SNKRHDZ, voor we doorhadden dat we gewoon 808 SNEAKERHEADZ mogen zeggen tegen deze vier heren uit Gent-Haaltert. Een missie hebben ze ook: de hart en de ziel van liverock enig vertongzoenen met all things dance & electro.( --Zone09)
